Coach Ash is a proud Arizona native and Desert Mountain High School alumna. During her high school career she was a four-year letter winner in soccer, where she set the school record for career goals and points. She also earned two varsity letters in volleyball, but soccer was always her true passion. Ashley was primarily a midfielder and forward, but during her time with club and collegiate soccer, transitioned to right defender. Ashley played locally with the Scottsdale Blackhawks and on the National League team before being recruited to Eastern Washington University .Her college career was cut short due to a severe head injury, after which she transferred to Arizona State University to complete her education. Her experience as a versatile player has given her a well-rounded understanding of the game, which she applies to coaching.
Coach Ash is thrilled to return to her alma mater for her second year as Assistant Coach at Desert Mountain. High school soccer has always held a special place in her heart , and she is excited to be back contributing to a program that has given her so much.
"I look forward to helping our athletes grow both on and off the field as they continue to develop their skills and passion for the game." Coach Ash.
